Rocket and Peter Quill's Relationship is one of the main friendships in the series.
Even though it is a complicated relationship, they are best friends, as established in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

By the sequel, Rocket and Peter seem to have something of an older brother joking with his younger one. Both of them also have rockets on their back that help them "fly" in the film. Rocket also appears to be the co-pilot of the Milano.
