Kamaria is a character mentioned in Guardians of the Galaxy and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. She was the daughter of Hovat and Drax the Destroyer, and was killed by Ronan the Accuser.
Kamaria was born on Drax's home-world. Her father often took her to the forgotten pools of their home. She was later killed by Ronan the Accuser, who believed her screams were "pitiful" when he killed her and her mother.
Her death was later avenged by Peter Quill and the Guardians of the Galaxy (minus their teammate, Groot)
According to Drax, his daughter was full of innocence. She was also one of the most loved things and even wanted to avenge his deceased daughter's death.
- In the comics, Kamaria was named Heather Douglas, who later became the super heroine, Moondragon.
- Drax is reminded of Kamaria's innocence in Mantis.
